Dan Sitomer - Music Director
Mr. Sitomer has an Advanced Professional Certificate (APC) from the Maryland State Department of Education to teach music for grades K-12. He's also a National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT) in Instrumental Music, Early Adolescent to Young Adult. Dan is in his 19th year of teaching, the last ten of those at Old Mill High School in Millersville, Maryland, where he is the Music Department Chair. He also directs the orchestra and jazz band, and teaches International Baccalaureate (IB) music, music technology, and Piano 2-4. Additionally, he is the immediate past president of the Maryland Orchestra Directors Association. |
